Clove Valley Community Farm is both production-oriented veggie farm and a community education center. We grow high-quality vegetables and herbs for our friends and neighbors, have a small farm-stand, at the Woodstock Farm Festival, and are exited to bring our veggies to the Goshen Farm Market this season! We also hold a Plant Sale on the farm throughout May, and will bring some plants to the Market also.
We grow vibrant and delicious “beyond organic” veggies in 1-2 acres of permanent no-till garden beds, and raise seedlings for our plant sale. “Beyond organic” means we spray NO pesticides nor herbicides, even those allowed for organic certification. We fertilize by spreading rich compost on all of our beds every year, and reduce pest damage by fostering biodiversity throughout the gardens.
Our mission is to strengthen our community by gathering people around growing food, and to empower individuals through land-based experiential education.
We host a diverse range of interns, volunteers from all over the world, and we hold many community events. Beginning in June, every Tuesday we host a work-party from 4-7 followed by a community dinner. Our market customers are warmly invited to visit the farm!
